Any blinds should be cleaned at least every three months to keep them in good condition. But many people do it very rarely, because, at first glance, it seems to be a rather difficult task. However, keeping your shutters and blinds clean is actually easier than you think.

Roman blinds

The easiest way to clean most Roman blinds at home is to use the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Gently remove dust from them and then sprinkle with fabric freshener to give them a fresh smell.

If the fabric has stains, wipe them off with a damp cloth. If the stains are too persistent, it is better to dry clean the curtains.

Roller blinds

Roller blinds are very easy to clean, which is why many people install them in their homes. Regardless of whether they are made of polyester or PVC, it is enough to regularly dust them with a dry cloth.

If they are dirty, they can be cleaned with a damp, soft cloth.

Vertical blinds

Vertical blinds need to be dusted regularly to keep them looking good. To do this, you can use a special dusting brush called a pipiduster.

If your blinds are not very large, you can wipe them first with a damp and then a dry cloth.

Wooden, metal, and plastic blinds

To keep your Venetian blinds in good condition, you only need to lightly dust them with a dry cloth.

For more stubborn stains, use warm water and a cloth with a little detergent. Do not worry that wooden blinds will be damaged by moisture, because, as a rule, they are waterproof.
