The DS 7 family car from the French manufacturer has an interesting design, which is made mainly of high-quality materials. But on closer inspection, you can see that the lower part of the dashboard is dominated by hard, easily scratched surfaces. In addition, most of the "chrome" is made of plastic.
The E-Tense 225 with a total output of 222 horsepower accelerates from 0 to 160 km/h in 8.9 seconds. This is enough for daily driving.
All E-Tense PHEV models default to electric mode when driving, which provides smooth acceleration that is sufficient to move along with city traffic at low speeds.
One problem is the imperfect automatic transmission. When you try to move quickly from a stop, you often have to wait for the car to gain its strength and the engine to start. If you press the pedal too hard, you may lurch forward.
This is less noticeable in the more powerful 300 and 360 versions, which have acceleration times from 0 to 160 km/h of 5.9 and 5.6 seconds, respectively. The downside is that no model manages to convincingly combine gasoline and electricity.
Therefore, before buying a car, you should carefully study all the technical characteristics to make a good choice.
