Netflix updates the list of the most popular movies in its history

During its 15 years of existence, Netflix has created a huge amount of high-quality films and TV shows. And now it has updated its list of the top 10 best movies of all time. OBOZ.UA shares with you the top five.

Red Notice (230.9 million views)

Red Notice is an American comedy action movie directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The film stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.

The plot revolves around the famous swindler Nolan Booth, who stole a priceless treasure - Cleopatra's eggs - from the National Museum in Rome and fled to Bali.

Special Agent John Hartley of Interpol found and arrested him. At the same time, they were both fooled by a cunning thief nicknamed The Bishop.

And now Hartley and Booth are forced to stick together to get out of the nasty story and catch the mysterious villain.

Don't Look Up (171.4 million)

Don't Look Up is an American comedy directed by Adam McKay in 2021. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

Teacher Randall Mindy and a young astronomy graduate student Kate Dibiasky are horrified to discover that a large comet is heading toward Earth, which will probably destroy all of humanity. They rush to the White House to meet with the President of the United States, but no one takes their words seriously, ignoring the impending catastrophe.

Forced to draw public attention to the problem on their own, the protagonists urgently embark on a tour around the country, facing arrogance and distrust.

Carry-On (160.1 million)

Carry-On is a film by American director Jaume Collet-Serra starring Theron Edgerton and Jason Bateman.

Ethan Kopek, who was kicked out of the police academy, has been working in security at Los Angeles International Airport for three years without any prospects for promotion. On the eve of the New Year's holidays, he learns that his girlfriend Nora is pregnant and starts to reflect on his career.

After some thought, Ethan asks his superior to give him a more responsible and better-paid job at the scanner.

Soon, a mysterious stranger contacts him. He threatens to harm Nora and demands that the bag with the forbidden goods pass the scanner and get on the flight.

The Adam Project (157.6 million)

The Adam Project is an American comedy sci-fi action film directed by Shawn Levy in 2022.

The plot of the film revolves around 12-year-old Adam Reed. The boy has recently lost his father and since then has been unable to get rid of his feelings of sadness and loneliness, which leads to problems with his peers and at school.

One night, the teenager runs outside to investigate the crash site of a mysterious aircraft and finds a stranger in the garage, who have made a time jump. The time traveler introduces the boy to the amazing technologies of the future and enlists his support to fulfill a special task related to their father.

Bird Box (157.4 million)

Bird Box is an American post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Susanne Bier in 2018.

The Earth has been struck by a mysterious force of unknown origin, which causes people to instantly lose consciousness and take their own lives upon visual contact.

The story centers on a young woman with two small children who is trying to survive in a world where the slightest mistake can lead to death. In search of a safe place for her children, she embarks on a journey that she will have to go through blindfolded, relying only on her own hearing.
