The list of the most popular Netflix series in Ukraine has a new leader. According to the ratings, the first line is now occupied by the black comedy "Murder Mindfully."

The miniseries has received good reviews and is now actively gaining views. OBOZ.UA explains why it is really worth watching.

The source for the show was a bestseller by German writer and lawyer Karsten Dusse. The main role was played by popular actor Tom Schilling. He portrayed a mafia lawyer named Bjorn Dimel, who is trying his best to maintain a balance between work and personal life. However, he has almost no time for his family.

Björn's main client is Dragan Sergovic, a mafia leader who is constantly on the run. Taking care of his client prevents the protagonist from establishing a close bond with his daughter and constantly threatens his relationship with his wife. Tired of this tension and wanting to save his marriage, the protagonist decides to enroll in a mindfulness retreat. The skills he learns there lead him down an unexpected and dark path.

In short, Bjorn becomes a serial killer himself, but manages to maintain his inner peace and bring his life into balance. The first mindfulness experiment he performs on his client unleashes a whole tangle of events involving Dragan's accomplices and even law enforcement. But nothing can knock the hero out of his rut.

The series debuted on Netflix on October 31. All 8 episodes are available for viewing.
