Masters of transformation: 5 actors who have skillfully played characters of opposite gender. Photos
Actors do anything to get the role they want: they shave their heads, lose weight, gain weight, and even "change sex". Psychologically, such experiments are exhausting and can have a bad impact on the health of stars. But fortunately for the audience, this does not stop them.

According to the plot, the woman had to pretend to be a man for a long time to fulfill a secret mission, but one day she gets exposed...
Every day before filming, the celebrity had to spend several hours in the dressing room in order to achieve a believable transformation. A special silicone mask was put on her face, and her breasts were tied with ribbons. She was given uncomfortable clothes made of rough fabric.
2. Eddie Redmayne
British actor and model Eddie Redmayne starred in the title role in the movie The Danish Girl (2015). The drama is set in the 1920s and tells the story of the artist Einar Wegener, who posed for his wife as a woman. Eddie Redmayne played both characters perfectly, and the movie about the world's first transgender person turned out to be strong, philosophical and lyrical.
3. Cillian Murphy
The Irish theater and film actor Cillian Murphy often impresses viewers with his skillful performance in any role. 4. Elle Fanning
At the age of 25, American actress Elle Fanning can give her colleagues with many years of experience in cinema a run for their money. She can play the roles of gentle ladies, strong-minded women and... men. In the movie 3 Generations (2015), the star played a teenager who was determined to change her gender: Ray is ready to take testosterone injections and go to a different school, but he needs the written consent of both parents.
5. Hilary Swank
American actress Hilary Swank played a transgender person in the 1999 drama film Boys Don't Cry, based on real events, a guy named Brandon. He abused alcohol, surfed, crashed cars, got into fights and seduced women.
