Marvel releases first teaser for Fantastic Four movie: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach brace to save the Earth
This year, Marvel Studios is preparing to relaunch the Fantastic Four movie franchise. The film is subtitled The First Steps and the film company has already published first teaser.
The video was released on Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel. 17.5 million people watched it in the first 16 hours.
Pedro Pascal plays the leader of the superhero team Reed Richards, nicknamed Mr. Fantastic. Sue Storm, or the Invisible Woman, is portrayed by Vanessa Kirby. Joseph Quinn plays Human Torch (Johnny Storm), and The Thing is Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Their enemy Galactus is Ralph Ineson, and Silver Surfer, his right-hand man, is portrayed by Julia Garner. Other cast members include Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles.
The film is directed by Matt Shakman, the one behind WandaVision series, and is produced by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.
The events of Fantastic Four: The First Steps are set in a retro-futuristic world inspired by the aesthetics of the 1960s. The first family in the history of Marvel comics faces a serious challenge. Relying on their superpowers and family ties, they have to save the world from the invading cosmic god Galactus and his assistant Silver Surfer.
According to unconfirmed reports, Robert Downey Jr. may make his first appearance as Dr. Doom in the new movie. This may mark the beginning of a new era of The Avengers. However, there are no hints of this in the trailer. Still, it is known for certain that the heroes of the new Fantastic Four will appear in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Of course, Fantastic Four: The First Steps will also be released in Ukraine. The film is scheduled to premiere in the country on July 24 this year. The world will see the movie the next day - July 25.
