Ukraine's midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi admitted that the team's head coach Serhiy Rebrov was very angry at the Ukrainians' defeat to Poland. On June 7, the Yellow and Blues lost a friendly match with a score of 1-3.

"He was very angry. We worked on standards for two or three days and still conceded goals. But we will analyze and figure out what we need to do in the next matches to avoid making such mistakes," Malinovskyi was quoted as saying by the UAF YouTube channel.

Journalist Roman Bebekh tried to elaborate on Serhiy's emotions, saying that he looked very calm at the press conference, but Ruslan avoided answering the question about what exactly happened in the locker room.

"I will say this: there is no need to escalate. Just imagine the level of such pressure on the team. It is not necessary now. We need to calmly analyze, work further, prepare for Moldova. There is also an important game before the first match at the European Championship. At Euro 2024, there will be other games, even with the same Poland. Poland will play differently," the Genoa midfielder summarized.
