Light as a feather: delicious and successful kefir pancakes
Pancakes are the perfect dish for a quick and satisfying breakfast. To make the pancakes fluffy, cooks recommend adding baking soda and warm kefir to the dough.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very fluffy and successful pancakes made with kefir.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 3 tsp of sugar
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 300 ml. kefir
- 280 g. flour
- 0.5 tsp. of baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- vanillin
- 100 ml. oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Crack an egg at room temperature into a bowl, add sugar (do not add more than 2 tablespoons) and salt, mix. Pour in the preheated kefir, then add the flour and baking soda with baking powder, be sure to add these two components, do not replace one with the other, but add both!
2. Add vanilla, vanilla sugar, vanilla extract if desired. Knead a homogeneous thick dough.
3. Add oil to the frying pan, exactly the amount specified in the recipe - this is important! The pancakes should be deep-fried. They will not be greasy because they have the right dough structure. Tip: to make the pancakes the same size and have a good shape, put the dough in a pastry bag or a sop bag!
4. Put the pancakes in a well-heated frying pan with vegetable oil, set the heat to low, cook for 1 minute on each side!
