On September 1, Kyivstar updated a number of tariffs at once. The changes affected, in particular, the cost of offers and their content.

This was reported by Kyivstar itself. They noted that, in particular, the amount of minutes and gigabytes provided was increased.

"Starting from September 1, 2024, we are increasing the amount of minutes and gigabytes for some subscription and contract tariffs. These changes are due to the increased consumption of mobile traffic in these tariffs. We are revising the cost of tariffs to further increase investments to expand the network and equip it with additional power sources and generators," Kyivstar said.

What tariffs did Kyivstar change?

The change in conditions affected a number of Kyivstar tariffs. In particular:

  • LOVE UA Base;
  • LOVE UA Contract;
  • LOVE UA Light 2023;
  • LOVE UA Light 2023 with Super Power Savings;
  • Maximum Unlimited 2019.

In addition, the Maximum Unlimited 2019 tariff will have Superpowers to choose from. And Roaming like at home," the statement said.

It is noted that the cost of these tariffs was also changed. However, it is not specified how exactly. As Kyivstar explained, users of these tariffs will receive SMS with details of the new terms and conditions and the current price at least 7 days before the changes.

At the same time, it is noted that you can learn more about the changes by calling the toll-free number 477*9. Or in the My Kyivstar application.

What Kyivstar charges for: how to check

At the same time, Kyivstar subscribers can check what they are paying the operator for at any time. They can find out all the information about their tariff in several ways. In particular

  • by texting *100*01*2#;
  • by logging in to the website and going to the Tariffs page;
  • in the My Kyivstar application;
  • by calling 466*66.

In turn, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and Postal Services (NCCS) reminded that subscribers of all operators can receive free information from the operator about the services provided to them for the required period.

The operator must provide this data in the form of a decrypted bill. In the report, the operator will have to indicate a number of items:

  • subscriber number
  • type of service
  • volume of services provided;
  • the amount to be paid for each communication session.

"To do this, you can use the operator's mobile application. Or the subscriber can make a personal physical request to the operator's store," the NCCC noted.

However, there is an important nuance. A decrypted bill is provided only to identified subscribers - registered or contract subscribers. However, impersonal or anonymous electronic communication services are not subject to decryption.
