You don't have to go somewhere far away to have a good time. Every city has well-equipped locations where you can organize a weekend. And the capital is no exception. We'll tell you where to go below.

Lake Kriuchok

The recreation center of the same name is located in the Kriukiv region. Here you can rent gazebos, kayaks, and SUP boards, as well as go fishing and just soak up the sun on the beach. There is also a terrace by the pond, where you can organize a family picnic, corporate party, or other events.

The location will delight you with its clean coastline, developed infrastructure, and warm water. You can safely go here with children, as there is a special area for them. For those who like adrenaline, we offer a banana ride or a jet ski.

Horenka Beach

Located 7 kilometers from the Ring Road. The sandy shore and blue lake attract travelers every year. Clay used to be mined here for brickmaking, which is why the quarry was formed. Now it is a favorite place for divers. You can find both paid and free areas here.

It's not difficult to get here, and it doesn't take long. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. Bus #719 runs hourly from Nyvky. If you have a car, take the E-373 highway.

Lake Redkyne

This man-made body of water is located in Kyiv, in the north of Obolon. It is known locally as Ministrka. The coastline is divided into two parts: the developed and the "wild" one. The first part has changing rooms and gazebos with barbecues. There is also a volleyball court.

The second area is not occupied by people. Most often, fishermen come here, as well as Kyiv residents who want to be alone. By the way, you can also swim here. But be careful, because the depth is uneven.

Blue Lake

It is located in the village of Pidhirtsi, just 25 kilometers from the city. There used to be a sand quarry here, but later it was flooded with water. If you're looking for a more remote vacation, without the noisy crowds, choose wilderness areas.

On Lobster Beach, there is the Empire complex, with a restaurant serving European and original cuisine, as well as a bar with a hookah. There is an opportunity to rent sun loungers with umbrellas and play volleyball.

By the way, the entrance to the private base is paid.

Rusanivska Spit

The wild coast is ideal for a summer weekend. It offers a great view of the right bank of the Dnipro River and Hydropark. There are not many visitors here, so you can take a break from the bustle of the city.

There are no toilets, garbage cans, or changing cabins. But many trees provide excellent shade. We also advise you to bring all the necessary things with you, as there is no infrastructure here.

Berezniaky

This recreation area is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Here you can admire a picturesque view of the Mykola Hryshko National Botanical Park, Vydubychi Monastery, and the sights of Pechersk.

There are also no private complexes on the coast, so we recommend bringing a mat and a snack. But you can leave your umbrella at home because the wide crowns of trees protect you from the scorching sun.

If wild and even private beaches are not for you, choose campgrounds with swimming pools. There are many of them in Kyiv. Let's find out more.

The paradise courtyard

The hotel and restaurant complex is located at 26 Pohrebskyi Shliakh Street. Guests can choose a sun lounger, or a bed, or refuse to rent one. Of course, entrance without a sunbed will cost less.

The facility also has a changing room, shower, restaurant, children's maze and playground. The pool is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00. Unfortunately, it is strictly forbidden to bring food with you. By the way, we advise you to take care of a towel in advance, as it is not included in the price.

SPA seasons

The boutique hotel is located in a pine forest in the Koncha Zaspa resort area. There is a wellness center, a bathhouse, and a phytobar. High-level specialists work here: a nutritionist, a vertebrologist, an osteopath, a massage therapist, and a cosmetologist. By the way, we recommend going for a bike ride by renting a two-wheeler.

City Holiday Resort & SPA 5

The complex is located in one of Kyiv's parks. There is a summer terrace with a swimming pool, which, by the way, is not included in the price. You need to pay for it separately.

Unique wellness treatments, massages, a salt room, and baths are also available here.

Those who like active entertainment are advised to go wakeboarding or play volleyball. The location is also suitable for couples with children, as there is a playground and a swimming pool for them.

It is open daily from 10:00 to 22:30.

Maiachok – Beach Club

The summer resort is located on the banks of the Dnipro River. The coast is equipped with changing rooms and showers. At the entrance, guests are greeted by beach-boys who help you choose the right place. We advise you to take care of towels in advance, as they are not included in the price of renting a sun lounger.
