Kate Middleton and the wife of a famous athlete attended Rugby World Cup wearing identical jackets
Prince William's wife Kate Middleton got into a fashion embarrassment while attending the Rugby World Cup. The Princess of Wales chose a white tweed jacket from Zara. Imagine the royal's surprise when Hilary Beaumont, the wife of the former legendary player and now president of the World Rugby Association, wore the same jacket.
No one would have noticed this coincidence if the women had not been sitting next to each other. The awkward situation was noticed by the Daily Mail.
Kate often prefers inexpensive brands. It happened this time too. The price of a stylish white tweed jacket with gold buttons from the Zara mass-market brand was only 30 pounds sterling or 1,300 hryvnias. The look also consisted of black flared trousers from Roland Mouret, as well as classic court shoes from Russell & Bromley and a small Chanel handbag on a long chain.
It is worth adding that the wife of the heir to the British throne was seen wearing a ring that she inherited from Princess Diana.
It is not surprising that the Princess of Wales was given seats in the VIP stand at the match between England and Fiji. Legedary Bill Beaumont, who came to the game with his wife, sat right next to her. Hilary Beaumont chose an identical jacket made of the same material, the same color, and even the same gold buttons. Luckily, at least the women's pants were different as Hilary's were white, not black.
This is not the first time that royals have gotten into such fashion embarrassments. For example, Queen Letizia of Spain got into an embarrassment at a public event. She even laughed at herself as a guest dressed in an identical dress approached the monarch.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Kate Middleton repeated the iconic look of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, during a visit to a charity organization in East London.
