Tigres midfielder Lizbeth Ovalle scored an incredible goal in the 10th round of the Mexican Women's Championship. The 23-year-old player managed a real masterpiece in the game against Guadalajara (2-0).
In the 76th minute, the Tigers were awarded a corner kick by Jennifer Hermoso. After an unsuccessful draw, the ball was again in Hermoso's possession and the Mexican cut out a magnificent pass on the second attempt, to which Ovalle responded.
Lizbeth managed to hit the round ball with her heels so accurately in a jump that it flew over the goalkeeper and into the net.
Mexican commentators working the game could not contain their emotions, noting that this shot could be called a "half-scorpion" shot.
"We can turn off the lights, we can leave – what an amazing goal! We have just witnessed the best goal of the tournament! And, to be honest, maybe it's the best goal of her career because of the way she scored it! It was like a half scorpion! I'm in shock! It's crazy! The goal is a real masterpiece!" the journalists were bursting with admiration.

Symbolically, this was Ovalle's 10th goal of the season and 130th in her career.
Ovalle played for the Mexican youth national teams at major tournaments, including the U-17 World Cup (2016) and the U-20 World Cup (2018). She made her debut for the national team on September 1, 2018.
In 2023, she helped the Mexican national team win gold at the Pan American Games, where the team became the champion for the first time in history, beating Chile in the final (1:0).
