Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon hinted at the continuation of the legendary Legally Blonde dilogy, appearing on Amazon Prime Video in her signature tweedy pink look with a Chihuahua in her arms. Later, the star confirmed the audience's guesses about the creation of a movie about the story of Elle Woods, who, despite her limited knowledge of the law, thanks to her desire to prove to her lover that she was worthy of being his bride, gained incredible recognition as a lawyer and success in all countries.

Reese Witherspoon appeared on the stage of the event in a pink tweed suit and with a one-to-one hairstyle with the one in which the actress was featured on the cover of the first part of the movie. What definitely hinted at "Legally Blonde" was the collar and leash by which the star was holding the Chihuahua, which was a copy of the Boss (in the English version – Bruiser). Later, the actress announced that she would still shoot the sequels to the legendary films, the BBC writes.

However, in Witherspoon's understanding, this will not be a classic next part of an already logically complete story. She is planning to create a prequel series, that is, to tell about the events that preceded Elle Woods' formation before the plot of Legally Blonde. The upcoming series will be called Elle (the Ukrainian-language version is unknown), and Witherspoon herself will be the executive producer.

The star has announced that her work will be released in 2025, but nothing is known about the prequel's characters yet.

"Before she was the most famous vegetarian Twin to graduate from Harvard Law School, she was just regular, And you'll all get to meet her next year on Amazon Prime Video. I'm so excited!" the actress wrote on Instagram.
