Just Like Heaven (2005)

This is an adaptation of the science fiction novel of the same name by Naomi Alderman. The plot centers on a world where teenage girls suddenly gain extraordinary powers and the ability to release electric discharges from their fingers. This "power" spreads among women of all ages, changing the balance of power in society. The series explores how this supernatural ability affects various aspects of life: from personal relationships to global politics.
