Incredible design: the new Mazda EZ-6, which was released in China, was shown online
Japanese automaker Mazda has shown an elegant EZ-6 sedan that impressed experts with its design. Despite the fact that the novelty will be presented only in the Chinese market, it allows us to orientate ourselves in the direction the brand plans to move.
According to the British publication Autoexpress, the developments used in the EZ-6 may appear in other Mazda models that will enter other global markets. At more than 4.9 meters long and almost 1.9 meters wide, the EZ-6 is larger than the old Mazda 6, which was discontinued in 2023. Although the EZ-6's exterior follows Mazda's "Kodo" design language, there are significant changes with more subtle body design elements, slim LED lights, and additional textured lighting around the grille and tailgate. There is even a rear wing integrated into the boot lid that is electronically raised at speeds above 85 kilometers per hour.
The car demonstrates a new design direction for the Japanese automaker.

The interior of the EZ-6 houses a 14.6-inch touchscreen, which is located in the center of a rather minimalist panel. You can also see a projection display with an actual diagonal of 50 inches. Other features include a 14-speaker sound system, a wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
Both all-electric and internal combustion engines are available for the EZ-6. The electric vehicle has a 254-horsepower rear-mounted electric motor, powered by either a 56.1 kWh battery with a 480 km range or a 68.8 kWh battery pack with a 600 km range (both range figures are subject to CLTC testing, China's own fuel economy and efficiency standards).
Inside, the new model is equipped with simply huge screens.

A range extender is also available with a 1.5-liter 93-hp gasoline engine and a 214-hp electric motor. The EZ-6 offers two batteries, 18.9 or 28.4 kWh – the smaller one provides a range of 105 km on electricity alone, and the larger one can travel 160 km. The total range of the EZ-6 gasoline hybrid is more than 1300 km (again, according to the CLTC testing mode).
The cost of the novelty on the Chinese market will range from 139,800 to 179,800 yuan. This is approximately 800 thousand to 1 million hryvnias.
Mazda has updated the design of the seats and equipped the EZ-6 with a panoramic sunroof.
