Russian tourists, who still have the opportunity to travel abroad, continue to display uncivilized and disruptive behavior around the world. One Russian citizen from the aggressor country, in particular, attracted attention when returning from Thailand. He caused a scene on board the plane by attempting to open the door during the flight.

The individual in question, identified as Nikolai Zelenin, was on a flight from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi, Thailand) to Moscow (Sheremetyevo). Upon arriving in Moscow, he was apprehended by the police. This incident was reported on the AVIAINCIDENT Telegram channel.

Reports suggest that the man attempted to open the plane's door while in flight, likely while under the influence of severe drug intoxication. His fellow passengers initially tried to calm him down, and a flight attendant issued a verbal warning. However, Nikolai did not respond to these efforts.

Subsequently, passengers and two flight attendants, according to the source, managed to restrain the Russian passenger using unspecified "restraints."

They returned him to his seat. Thankfully, neither the crew nor other passengers on board were injured, and there was no damage to the aircraft.

Upon arrival at Sheremetyevo, the man was met by law enforcement officers, who concluded that he had been under the influence of drugs. He was detained for "disruptive behavior on board."

In a related matter, as previously reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russian tourists began to explore domestic resorts due to global sanctions, closed skies, rising prices, and incidents like the explosions in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea. However, their experience was marred by unpleasant surprises, as some complained about domestic resorts such as Sochi. You can learn more about his complaints in our article.
