On the night of Friday, January 19, a drone attacked an oil depot in the city of Klintsy, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, and a massive fire broke out there, which the emergency services were unable to quickly extinguish. The operation was conducted by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

This was reported to OBOZ.UA by intelligence sources, who emphasized that Ukraine is targeting Russian infrastructure, which is a military objective. Currently, more and more photos and videos from the scene of a large-scale emergency are appearing in Russian publics.

"The targets have been hit, and the lies of the Russian authorities are becoming more and more obvious even to the local population," the sources said, adding that the GRU is taking certain measures but has not disclosed any details of the operation.

Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced the drone attack on the Bryansk region on the morning of January 19. According to his version, the "Ukrainian" UAV was "suppressed" by electronic warfare, and during the "destruction" of the aerial object, "ammunition was dropped from it."

As a result, according to Russian authorities, a tank at the oil depot caught fire, and there were allegedly no casualties. Russian firefighters began to extinguish the fire.

Russians filmed the fire and the column of black smoke from it, which stretched for many kilometers, from different angles.

"We are in trouble, Luda! Do you know?" - the video shows locals shouting about the explosions in the city.

A large-scale fire at the oil depot in Klintsy was also filmed by passengers of a train that arrived in the city.

According to them, the area was partially blocked off, so they had to walk around it in the snow. Otherwise, "everything was as if nothing was happening, just a fire."

According to Russian media, the fire at the tank farm in Klintsy has reached 1000 square meters. As of 11:00 a.m., four gasoline tanks with a total volume of 6,000 cubic meters were still burning.
