On Thursday, February 6, Poltava said goodbye to actress and volunteer Anastasiia Kolvakh, whose life was cut short by a Russian missile attack. The ceremony took place at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Relatives, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances gathered to pay their last respects and remember Anastasiia, who passed away at the age of 25. This was reported by Suspilne.
Anastasia died on February 1 when a Russian missile hit her house. She was an actress and co-author of productions at the Theater of Contemporary Dialogue.
In addition, Anastasiia worked in the IT field and was actively involved in volunteer activities, including helping animals and participating in rescue efforts. One of these events was a winter operation to capture a colony of bats, which she conducted in 2024 in the Almaznyi neighborhood, and also helped to release the rescued bats in the city arboretum.
The creative team of the Contemporary Dialogue Theater remembers Anastasiia as a person who not only invested in art but also did not hesitate to defend those in need.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the night before in Poltava, emergency and rescue operations were completed at the site of the February 1 Russian strike: 14 people died in a five-story building destroyed by a Russian missile, including three children. Twenty civilians were also injured, including four children aged three months, two, eight, and 12.
