"I will work there, then I will become a minister." Usyk confessed what he will do after his career is over
WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) plans to work as president of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation after his retirement. In addition, Oleksandr admitted that he would not mind taking the post of Minister of Sports.
"I will be Usyk Oleksandr Oleksandrovych. That's all. I will not leave boxing. It will always be with me. I will work in boxing. I will help boxing. This is a part of my life. I will become president of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation and work there. Then I will become the Minister of Sports. And that's it. I will be engaged in business and sports," Usyk said on the Youtube channel Video NV.
When the host asked him if Usyk was aiming for the presidency, Oleksandr categorically refused, saying that he was not interested in politics.
"Watch a moment. I can't come to terms with my conscience. There is everything that I do and everything that I have - my conscience is fine," the boxer said.
