"I still don't believe it..." UEFA causes a bout of disbelief in Russia with the return of a full ban

Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov did not believe that the European Football Union (UEFA) had reversed its decision to allow Russian youth teams to participate in its tournaments. The official called the move unexpected and added that "there will be no respect left for such an organization."
Koloskov said this in an interview with Sport24. The Russian, who has long been a member of UEFA's executive committee, said he was "completely disappointed" by the union's decision and accused the organization and its leadership of unprofessionalism.
"UEFA reversed its decision? Ha! To be honest, I didn't think they would do that. The UEFA Executive Committee is a more than serious organization, they make a decision and two weeks later they cancel it... Well, there will be no respect for such an organization. For me, as a person who was on the UEFA Executive Committee for fifteen years, this is a huge disappointment. In all the years I've been on the board, it's never happened before that a decision was made and then two weeks later it was canceled! This suggests that the decision was made ill-considered and unprofessional! I still don't believe it and can't imagine it," Koloskov said.
We would like to remind you that after UEFA initially decided to return Russian boys to its tournaments, 12 countries at once announced a boycott of the representatives of the aggressor country.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, four-time Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov literally flew off the handle after Sweden's decision regarding the Russian women's national team.
