Jessica Enslow gave effective advice on the popular social network. She spoke frankly about the "extra skin" over the eyes that became noticeable with age.

The first step is to cover the eyelid with a neutral light color. Enslow advises applying brown to the upper part of the eyelid while avoiding the darkest shades.

"It's like I'm writing a V on the outside and going into the corner about halfway," she explained.

Shadows on the outer contour of the eyes will help to hide a droopy eyelid.

Jessica said that she also likes to use a shimmery shade and then a lighter pearlescent tone on the inner corners to "highlight". Using an angled brush, you can also emphasize the contours with a thin line, choosing a black or dark brown color.

The last step is to curl the eyelids, and the neutral daily makeup that will make the look more expressive is ready.

Makeup artists also advise applying makeup to the eyelids with your eyes open, looking at yourself in the mirror straight ahead, and not raising your eyebrows. This way, the natural crease will be visible. Thick black arrows on the eyelids should be avoided - they will create the effect of fatigue and visually add age, not to mention the fact that they will constantly smudge.

Pastel colors are considered optimal, but this does not mean that you should choose exclusively beige and brown. The main thing is that the colors are soft and the lines are carefully shaded.

Eyebrows and eyelashes should also be accentuated.
