According to beauty experts interviewed by In Style magazine, when gray hair appears, you will have to change the colors of your eyebrow products to look natural. If you use the same cosmetics as before, they will stand out too much on the face. So experts told us what to do to choose the right eyebrow color for gray hair.
Why you shouldn't neglect your eyebrows
Your eyebrows usually have a slightly different color from the hair on your head. This is because hairs in different areas lose melanin at different rates. Nevertheless, you shouldn't leave your eyebrows gray if these changes have begun there. For a natural look, they should be tinted to emphasize the eyes and make them more open.
Consider your skin tone
When it comes to finding the right eyebrow color to match your gray hair, don't underestimate your natural skin tone. If you have a cool skin tone, choose neutral shades of mascaras, lipsticks, and eye shadows. Too warm will contrast strongly with the face, and too cold will make it look sickly. Instead, soft colors give the eyebrows a beautiful, natural look.
Those with warm skin should go for lighter shades of eyebrow products, such as gray-brown, dark blond, and rich brown tones. They will complement skin tones as they are in the same warm range that ranges from peach to yellow and gold.
Take out old photos
Do you want to choose your eyebrow tone as accurately as possible? Your photos with your natural hair color will help you with this. Take a closer look at the darkest strands.
