How to make a round face look more elongated: a simple makeup hack

A round face requires not the usual horizontal but vertical contouring. It will help to visually narrow the lower part of the face and at the same time emphasize the cheekbones.

Start by using a contouring stick to draw three or four vertical lines from the hollow under the cheekbone. That's where you would normally do the contouring in the traditional approach. However, here we change the direction of the line.

Next, blend the product carefully so that no streaks remain on the skin. This darkened area should create the illusion of a narrower face.

But you don't have to stop there. Apply another drop of sculptor to the chin so that the darkened area does not end abruptly at the cheek. This will ensure a smoother and more natural transition. But don't overdo it with the amount so that it doesn't look like a stubble.

It is also very important to choose the right color of the bronzer or sculptor. The shade should not be too dark and not too light. It should be less noticeable than horizontal contouring but still create shading.
