A fresh and radiant face is a trend that will never go out of style. Age-related changes, facial wrinkles, pigmentation, and enlarged pores make the face look dull and create unnecessary accents.

Experts agree that the main thing in everyday makeup is a radiant and natural tone. They shared their most effective tips on how to create an even, attractive makeup look in minutes.

Step 1. Prepare your skin

Preparing your skin is the first and most important step in your daily skincare routine. Nydia Figueroa, a makeup artist from New Jersey, advises to take care of thorough and high-quality moisturizing. You should use products that gently cleanse and tone the skin. It's best to look for care products that contain hyaluronic acid and squalene, as these components help in the moisturizing process.

Step 2. Even out your complexion

Start with a light skin tone to bring out the natural glow. Sarah Egan, a renowned New York-based makeup artist, recommends ditching the foundation brush when you're going to apply a glowing finish and opting for fingertip blending instead.

"Blend a pea-sized amount of foundation into the palm of your hand and then gently rub it into your skin with your fingertips – the warmth of your hands will soften the emulsion of the product and help it blend naturally," Egan advises.

Shades with a glowing effect are usually lighter and allow the skin to breathe. For oily skin, it is better to choose a powder. Apply a more matte powder to areas that usually sweat a lot: forehead, nose, and upper lips.

Step 3. Accentuate with a highlighter

At this stage, three steps are important: the right texture of the product, the perfect color, and the optimal application technique. Rokael Lizama, the founder of the Rokael Beauty makeup line, advises using a highlighter on the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the inner part of the eyes, and under the arch of the eyebrows.

A soft pinkish-golden highlighter will be optimal for fair skin types. Apply the liquid highlighter to the skin and blend with your fingertips to bring out the natural glow of the skin. You can use a cream bronzer as an eye shadow.

Step 4. Blush

Add a little cream or liquid blush to the cheeks for a radiant, fresh look. Lightly dab the applicator in two to three spots on the cheek, working upward toward the ear, and then gently blend upward with your fingertips for a natural flush.

Step 5. Eyes and eyelashes

For natural makeup, you don't need bright eyeshadow, just apply a matte shade that matches your natural skin tone all over the eyelid. Emphasize your eyes with high-quality mascara. A popular technique "mascara cocktailing" is to use several brushes to add volume, length, and definition to your lashes.

Step 6. Accentuate the lips

Makeup artists suggest completing the look with a transparent or slightly tinted lip gloss. Choose a color that will be in harmony with the natural skin color and blush on the cheeks.
