Coffee grounds – contain a lot of nitrogen, which helps to increase the green mass of the plant. It is very easy to use. Take the grounds left over after brewing coffee, dry them, and sprinkle a small pinch of dry matter on the surface of the soil in the pot. Gently mix the grounds with the top layer of soil. Fresh coffee should not be used in this way – it contains too many nutrients.
Yeast – yeast fertilizer contains a whole range of substances that are useful for indoor plants. To prepare it, dissolve 10 grams of yeast in a liter of warm water and add a teaspoon of sugar. Let the liquid steep for an hour, then dilute it with water in a 1:3 ratio and use it to water the flowers.
Onion husks – collect a handful of husks and pour a liter of boiling water over them. Let the fertilizer steep overnight. Before using, dilute this infusion with clean water 1:3.
Banana peel – wash the peel of one small banana, cut it into small pieces, and cover it with a liter of cold water. Let it brew for 2 hours. Before use, this fertilizer should also be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:2.
Eggshells – this product contains the entire set of elements useful for plants, but it takes a long time to prepare the fertilizer. Pour a liter of water over the shells of 3-4 eggs and put them in a warm and dark place for 5 days. Stir the contents of the vessel at least once a day. This fertilizer is used diluted 1:5.
