To test it, take yellow gold and white gold/silver and put one piece of jewelry on your skin to compare. If the yellow gold blends in better with your skin, then you most likely have a warm complexion, while the silver or white gold is cool.
Can't decide between two options because they both suit you equally? In this case, you may have a neutral undertone. You can also test silver and gold eyeshadows in the same way.
