When you use your stove, something is always spilled or dropped on its surface. That's why it needs daily care. However, most of us find this task tedious because stains dry quickly and even burn from high temperatures, so it requires effort when cleaning.

Blogger @aurikatariina shared her tips on how to deal with even very old stains on her TikTok. She cleans up very dilapidated houses, so she knows how to deal with really tough stains.

Auri had to clean the home of a woman who first lost her husband, then she was fired from her job, and after contracting the coronavirus, she completely lost the ability to take care of her home. As a result, her kitchen had not been cleaned for several years.

To clean her client's stove, the blogger used a clever life hack. She applied oven cleaning foam to the surface of the stove and covered it with cling film. The film simultaneously prevented the rather caustic cleaner from evaporating and kept it on the surface of the stove so that it did not dry out and worked effectively.

It took 24 hours to clean the surface, which was so dirty. But after that, the dirt was wiped off with no effort at all. It just needed to be washed off with a sponge.

If your kitchen is not so dirty, you can use a less aggressive product: a regular stove spray or a mixture of equal parts of water and white vinegar. Also, do not keep it under the film for so long. An hour will be enough for medium dirt, while stubborn ones will definitely dissolve overnight.

Don't forget to rinse the surface properly with clean water. Your stove will shine like new.
