The kindergarten damaged in the helicopter crash in Brovary on January 18, 2023, has not been restored yet. According to official information, the building repair is expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of this year.
This information was reported by an OBOZ.UA correspondent. Currently, the students of the institution are attending other preschools.
Therefore, the Brovary kindergarten, which suffered damage in the helicopter crash on January 18, 2023, remains unrepaired. The building has lost half of its roof and some windows. According to official statements, the reconstruction of the facility is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2024.

The crash site is presently partially enclosed with a wooden fence, and construction workers and special equipment are engaged in repair work within the kindergarten premises.

As a reminder, on January 18, 2023, a helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region, in one of the city's districts. The incident resulted in an explosion that triggered a fire. The casualties included one child, as well as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovych, their assistants, and the helicopter crew. The tragic crash claimed the lives of 14 people, with an additional 25 people injured, including 10 children.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on Thursday, January 18, in Brovary, Kyiv region, people are bringing flowers to the site of the helicopter crash that occurred a year ago. The accident claimed the lives of 14 people, including the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
