Holiday for children: what locations to visit on Christmas Eve

Very soon it will be a fabulous time when dreams can come true! And for kids, it's also a great opportunity to meet real winter wizards. So where can you go to give your kids a lot of joy - we tell you below.

Residence of St. Nicholas

The estate is located in the village of Pistyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, on the territory of the Hutsulshchyna National Nature Reserve. The project was created in 2004.

The St. Nicholas Post Office operates here. So before you come here, be sure to write and send a letter to your grandfather.

Among the interesting things: there is a unique mirror where mischievous children can see their reflection with a birch.

At the residence, kids will be able to talk to St. Nicholas, see his bedroom and belongings. The elderly man's assistants will hold a master class on creating toys. You can also learn various types of crafts here: Easter egg making, carpet weaving, pottery, etc.

By the way, the estate is guarded by wooden guards - fairy-tale characters built by talented craftsmen. Near the fireplace are the chairs of the twelve virtues. Here you can think about goodness and justice. A real fairy-tale town with swings, slides and other entertainments has been set up next to the house.

Lapland

A province of Finland. According to legend, this is where Santa Claus lives. The location is located among snowy forests, lakes, and mountains, which creates an atmosphere of fairy tales and miracles. Here you can see the aurora borealis and meet reindeer.

Interestingly, myths about good spirits who brought gifts to children have always been spread here. The image of the old man as a wizard harmoniously fit into these traditions.

The town of Rovaniemi is home to the famous Santa's Village. You won't believe it, but my grandfather even has a passport. In the place of his date of birth, the document reads: "since ancient times". Every year he receives more than 600 thousand letters.

Here, children will be able to take pictures with the old man, buy Christmas decorations and various sweets. They can also watch a performance in the puppet theater.

Lviv Christmas Market

One of the favorite places for Lviv residents and visitors. The attraction is located on Rynok Square and on the alley in front of the Opera House. In cozy wooden houses, you can taste goodies, warm up with a hot drink, and buy themed souvenirs.

And be sure to take the kids to the shop near the Town Hall, which depicts the birth of Jesus Christ. Here you can meet real sheep.

We also recommend visiting the ice rink, which is hidden among the atmospheric houses. The attraction is illuminated by a large number of light bulbs and spotlights.

And, of course, go to the Lviv Puppet Theater to see the performance of The Road to Bethlehem.

Winterland at VDNKh

A Christmas location in Kyiv. Here you can visit a lot of entertainment: an ice rink, tubing slides, rides, music shows, etc.

At the main entrance there is a Christmas market, a Christmas tree, a carousel and a Ferris wheel. We also recommend a ride on the unique Northern Express, a sightseeing train.

And for the youngest guests, there is a residence of St. Nicholas, where they can receive gifts and talk to the Miracle Worker.
