Royals often appear in public in luxury clothing that most of us can only dream of. They treat these items with care: they wear them for years (or even decades!) and then patch or alter them to update the fit.

Why is this? Because titled persons, despite their wealth, tend to save money. This is also evident in the fact that they often wear things from brands with affordable prices (Gap, Zara, etc.). Read more about this in the OBOZ.UA article.

1. Kate Middleton

The wife of the heir to the British throne, Prince William, Princess Kate Middleton of Wales, attended the SportsAid Stars event in London in 2020. She wore a green ribbed knit sweater by Mango, emerald culottes by Zara, and white sneakers by Marks & Spencer. For her honeymoon in 2011, Catherine chose a blue pleated dress by Zara. Her other favorite mass-market brands include Topshop, Gap and Asos.

In 2019, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle wore a modest H&M dress during a visit to the Mayhew Animal Welfare charity organization. This beige silhouette dress has no decor or colorful prints. Simple and elegant!

Later, in 2020, Prince Harry's wife arrived at Canada House to meet with Janice Charette, the Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. The Duchess wore a noble brown sweater by Massimo Dutti.

In 2019, Her Majesty Letizia wore a snakeskin skirt to an event at the Sarsuela Palace, which she purchased at her favorite Zara store. And in 2022, the Queen attended a charity event in Valencia, wearing a bright pink dress with spicy cutouts by Cayro. This outfit perfectly emphasized Letizia's fragile figure.
