Hidden from tourists for years: what amazes the beach in Spain, which is called the smallest in the world

The tiny beach is only 40 meters long with golden sand and crystal clear water one meter deep and is one of the smallest - if not the smallest - in the world.
Gulpiyuri beach in the town of Llanes does not even have direct access to the sea. The tiny bay was created naturally over time by erosion caused by the Cantabrian Sea on the rocks of the surrounding area.
This led to the creation of a small natural pool that for many years was known only to locals, but in recent years has been revealed to the general public thanks to social media.
During high tide, you can hardly see any sand in Gulpiyuri, but during low tide the beach is "drained" and the sand comes to the surface again. The beach also has many caves, rocks and canals that will be of interest to explorers.
Due to its unique shape, the beach has been named a natural monument.

Gulpiri is not easily accessible, so it has been fairly well preserved over the years. You can reach the lagoon from San Antolin, descending into the valley via a staircase made of rocks. Once in Gulpijura, you can see the turbulent waters of the Cantabrian Sea on one side and the meadows, forests and farmland on the other.
Gulpiyuri is the ideal place to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the Asturian coast. The water is very calm and crystal clear, making it an ideal place to swim and relax.
If the small beach is too crowded, there is another option nearby. Playa de San Antolin de Bedon is a long beach with sand and gravel, overlooking an abandoned monastery.
