Andriy Lunin has problems with his future career

The management of Real Madrid has set tough conditions for Ukraine's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The Ukrainian national team player is expected to answer in the coming days whether he agrees to extend the contract

According to Defensa Central, if the Ukrainian does not extend the contract and does not leave the club, he will not play at all next season. The current agreement is valid until June 30, 2025.

"Real Madrid is quite pessimistic about the situation and believes that Lunin may leave Madrid. For this reason, the team is preparing a plan B to have a good backup goalkeeper who can play reliably if Courtois gets injured or suspended," Spanish journalists say.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Real Madrid is ready to let Lunin go for €30 million in the current transfer window. At the same time, the Ukrainian can leave the Madrid club for free if he works out his current contract until next summer.

It is worth noting that this is not the first ultimatum given by Real Madrid to the Ukrainian. Initially, the bosses of the "royal club" gave our compatriot until July 15 to decide on his future in the Spanish capital.

At the same time, Lunin admitted a week ago that he doesn't know where he will continue his career in the new season.
