He is afraid of a drone attack: Putin orders demolition of favorite residence in Sochi – media
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has ordered the demolition of his official summer residence in Sochi, Bocharov Ruchey. He was left without the house he loved so much and held both official meetings with presidents of other countries, and unofficial meetings with friends, as he was afraid to fly to this Black Sea resort.
This was reported by "Project" in an investigation published on October 7. It is on this day that Putin celebrates his 72nd birthday.
As the journalists found out, the main building of the southern residence of the Kremlin dictator has been demolished. There is now only a pit and construction equipment in its place.
There is another building on the territory of the residence where Putin could also hold meetings. But the leader of Russian terrorists no longer comes there.
According to investigative journalists, Putin has not been on the Black Sea coast for a record amount of time in the last 10 years.
"Putin no longer flies to Sochi and neighboring cities at all – he hasn't been there for seven months. This is a record for at least the last 10 years. This year, he also broke his long-standing tradition of celebrating the birthday of his beloved Alina Kabayeva on the Black Sea coast," the Project's Telegram channel reported.
The main reason for such changes in the Russian dictator's habits is Putin's fear for his life.
"Putin has cut back on visits to Sochi after Russian Armed Forces drones attacked the city several times and damaged the airport's helipad," the investigators write.
"He is also taking other security measures. In particular, the pilots of his planes are turning off transponders much more often, so it has become more difficult to track Putin's flight route.
