Harlan performed at the Olympics
Ukrainian fencer Olha Harlan has won a fantastic victory in the bronze medal match at the 2024 Olympic Games, which are currently taking place in Paris. The 33-year-old native of Mykolaiv made a comeback in the match against South Korea's Choi Sebin, winning 15:14.

The fight turned out to be uncompromising. From the very beginning, the rivals began exchanging precise shots and neither of them managed to get away.
However, at the end of the first half, the Korean made five successful attacks in a row - 8:3. After a minute break, Sebin made the difference +6, but the Ukrainian began to get to her opponent and equalized the score, and then finished her opponent with an accurate shot at 14:14.
Thus, Harlan became the third in the tournament. On the way to the small final, our saber fencer defeated Japan's Shihomi Fukushima (15:9), ex-Russian Anna Bashta from Azerbaijan (15:6) and Hungarian Anna Marton (15:7), and then lost to the first seeded Frenchwoman Sarah Balzer (7:15).
This is Olga's fifth medal at the fourth Olympic Games. Before that, she won gold in Beijing 2008, bronze in London 2012, and bronze and silver in Rio 2016.
