Halloween is coming soon: how to make "vampire lips" at home
Halloween is just around the corner, which means it's time to start practicing your makeup for the holiday party. For example, making "vampire" lips.
You can already find a lot of tutorials on how to do it on social media. OBOZ.UA tells you all the details. And the key to it is the ombre effect, which you need to learn how to do.
To achieve the desired effect, you will need two products - dark and blood red. If you're not afraid to look as bold as possible, use black as the darker color. However, you can also create a softer look with a dark brown product.
Start your makeup by preparing your lips - the product should lie flat on them. Do a delicate exfoliation and apply a moisturizing balm. Blot off the excess with a paper napkin.
Next, use a dark product to outline the contour of the lips. It can be either a black pencil or a long-lasting liquid lipstick, as in this tutorial for quick and easy vampy lips. The main thing is to create an even line. Leave the space inside the lips unshaded.
Now it's time for blood red. Apply it to the inside of the mouth, filling in all the free space inside the dark line. Now you just need to gently blend the products so that the colors combined smoothly with each other, creating an ombre effect. Do not forget to remove the excess products so that the makeup does not spread.
If you want to create a more dramatic look, you can use a dark pencil or lipstick to draw spikes around the lips and dark stripes over the red color. It will look very impressive.
