Chinese manufacturers continue to make vain attempts to "conquer" the European market. To do this, they will launch an inexpensive rival to the Toyota RAV4 from Geely. But the car has several problems.

Details about the cheap Chinese crossover were reported by CarNewsChina. The new Geely Galaxy E5 2024 crossover is already on sale in China. For Europe, the model has been renamed Geely EX5. The manufacturer did not bother buyers with creative imagination.

The same goes for the design, which can be called secondary at best. The new Geely EX5 2024 received modern exterior lighting, plastic bumpers, and taillights in the style of outdated Renault models. The Chinese automotive industry as it is.

The car is comparable in size to the Toyota RAV4 and competes with it in the same segment. Although the Chinese car, of course, is inferior in almost everything, as fans of the Japanese automotive industry are well aware.

The car is 4615 mm long with a wheelbase of 2750 mm, 1901 mm wide, and 1670 mm high. The large body, which is comparable in size to the RAV4 and Kia Sportage, offers five seats.

The new Geely electric vehicle is equipped with a 218-hp power plant. The official range is 500 km (safely divided by 1.5 times). The price of the Geely model in China starts at $15,000. European buyers will get the car for about three times more.
