Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid
Although it remains one of the most affordable new sedans on the market, the hybrid version of the Malibu has been discontinued for 2019. Under the hood of the model, you get a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with an electric motor that produces 122 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. In terms of efficiency, the sedan has an astounding fuel consumption of 5 liters per 100 kilometers and a total range of 950 kilometers.
Mercury Milan Hybrid
The fresh Mercury Milan Hybrid has been rated by experts as an extremely reliable vehicle with a near-perfect rating. However, it should be kept in mind that its operation will cost more than its competitors, despite the fact that Mercury is a mid-range brand. The car uses 5.7 liters of fuel per 100 km of travel in the city.
Honda Insight
The Honda Insight is one of the smallest hybrid cars on this list, but it offers outstanding interior space and high efficiency. The car spends 5.9 liters of fuel per 100 km of travel and has a range of 680 km. The model boasts excellent reliability, but there may be issues with airbags.
Toyota Prius C

The model distinguishes itself in the market thanks to its best-in-class efficiency and competitive price. Under its hood, you will find a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with one electric motor, with a total output of 200 horsepower. The model uses only 4.9 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers of travel.
Toyota Prius
The full-size Prius also found a place in the rating. The power of the model is 134 horsepower, as in the new modifications. At the same time, experts praise it for its durability, reliability and extreme economy - Prius uses 4.7 liters of fuel per 100 km.
Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
One of the models directly competing with the Toyota Camry is the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. The Korean sedan is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 159 horsepower and an electric motor that adds 47 horsepower. With this ratio, it spends 6.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
Ford Fusion Hybrid
The Fusion was one of many American sedans whose production was halted to make room for a growing fleet of crossover SUVs. However, this hybrid offered a good price/reliability ratio. And in addition, it used 6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers of travel.
Chevrolet Volt
To make room for the all-electric Bolt, the Chevrolet Volt was discontinued in 2019. But it was directly competing with the Toyota Prius in its segment. However, at the same time won in terms of reliability.
