What do the walls of the palace where she is a little princess hide? A golden cage, an abyss, and a lot of complicated feelings that Priscilla has to deal with. The role of Priscilla was played by Cailee Spaeny. For this role, she won the Volpi Cup, the main acting award at the Venice Film Festival, and was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Will their company and marriage survive and is the game worth the candle?

But yes, this movie, at least its theatrical version, not the director's cut, is as much about relationships as it is about battles. Napoleon's main woman throughout his life was Josephine. She had the power to control him: he ran to her after every victory and defeat. Even when the country forced the ruler to leave his beloved because she could not give birth to a child, he always returned to her. As one of the movie's slogans says, "The whole world for Josephine".
