Satellite images of the fire that engulfed the territory of the "Atlas" oil depot of "Rosrezerv," located near the village of Astakhov in the Rostov region of Russia, have been published online. It broke out as a result of a drone attack on the night of August 28. Three fuel tanks are currently on fire.

The relevant footage was published by Radio Liberty. Local telegram channels report that firefighters lack special devices that supply foam to neutralize burning fuel.

As a reminder, on the night of August 28, the DIU and the SOF used Ukrainian-made attack drones to hit the strategic Rosrezerves facility near Kamensk-Shakhtynsky, the "Atlas" oil depot. On the evening of August 28, another explosion occurred there, and the fire broke out with renewed vigor.

"This is how the fire at the "Atlas" oil depot of Rosrezerv looks like in a photo taken today, August 28. The photo shows that two fuel tanks are burning, and several others show signs of damage. It is known that the attack took place last night," the publication commented on the photo.

This is the second attack on the "Atlas" plant of Rosrezerv. Before that, a drone attacked the oil depot on August 3, but the fire was quickly extinguished.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

– The General Staff confirmed that on the night of August 28, the Defense Forces hit several strategic facilities of the Russian troops on the territory of the aggressor country. The defenders covered two oil depots and an enemy artillery ammunition depot with powerful "cotton".

– On the night of August 28, in the village of Mala Mezhenka, Voronezh region of Russia, UAVs attacked a warehouse with ammunition of the Russian army. A fire broke out on the territory. Residents of two settlements were evacuated.
