Nepal

Val Thorens

The resort is located in the mountains of the Savoie region in France at an altitude of 1,250 to 3,250 meters above sea level. It is home to the largest ski area in the world.

By the way, there is practically no car traffic in the resort. To get to the accommodation, tourists need to use skis, elevators or stairs. An extensive network of ski lifts and passages provides convenient access to any part of the resort.

More than 125 routes have a total length of 215 kilometers.

Those who like extreme sports are advised to try bobsledding. La Plagne has a special Olympic track for this type of luge. Before the descent, a briefing is required.

Meribel

Located in the Tarentaise Valley in France at an altitude of 1,450 to 1,700 meters.

In the eastern part of the resort there is a slalom stadium and the legendary black "face" route, which was laid for the Olympics in 1992. From the center of Meribel, a gondola takes skiers to La Saulire (2,700), from where you can get to Courchevel.

There are more than 100 pistes, the most difficult of which are Jean Blanc and Couloir Emile Allais.

Zermatt

A ski resort in the Pennine Alps of Switzerland, bordering the Italian border. The highest peak is the Matterhorn. It is considered the most beautiful in the world.

You can get around Zermatt by electric cars, on foot or on skis, as the movement of cars with internal combustion engines is prohibited.
