Zyryanov dreamed of a victory over Ukraine

Former Russian national football player Konstantin Zyryanov expressed confidence that athletes from the aggressor country will be begged to compete in international competitions after everything "ends with our victory." The head coach of the Novorossiysk-based Chornomorets noted that he was not particularly worried about the suspension of Russian teams from tournaments.

Zyryanov said this in an interview with Championship.com. The former player of Torpedo Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, with whom he won the UEFA Cup, supported his country's criminal war against Ukraine and added that the Russians will participate in all competitions after its end.

"Why should I be sad? I'm doing my job. I have a specific role. I shouldn't be sad. On the contrary, I wish it would end soon. It should end in our victory. Our common victory. I think we have a common victory, right? Right? When all this is over, the European Cups will come to us, and everyone will ask us to participate in all competitions. If God wishes, it will all end soon in our victory," Zyryanov said.

Earlier, the former Spartak Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow striker, as well as Krasnodar's Ari, expressed an absurd opinion about the inferiority of international football without Russian teams.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, former Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv player Andriy Kanchelskis expressed confidence that Russia's national team leader Alexander Golovin is not invited to top European clubs because of his citizenship of the aggressor country.
