Emily in Paris is back: Netflix shows Lily Collins' stylish looks for the new season

After much anticipation, Emily in Paris will finally return to Netflix this summer, with the first half of season 4 coming out on August 15. In addition to the main character's love affairs and successful career, fans of the show are looking forward to new fashion looks.

The famous costume designer Patricia Field, who worked on the first two seasons of the series, confirmed that the main character's wardrobe consists of "fashion statements". In Emily's language, this means controversial prints, bright colors and bold silhouettes.

On Wednesday, June 5, Netflix released photos from Season 4, and it's probably going to be the most gorgeous part. Even Collins herself thinks so. Sharing the photos on Instagram, she wrote, "With every new season comes new fashion choices, and Emily’s winter wardrobe will not disappoint."

Emily's cobalt blue suit

As Emily develops professionally as a digital marketing expert, her style becomes more appropriate for business meetings. In one scene, for example, she wears a three-piece suit in cobalt blue.

A master class in textures

Instead of mixing prints (the heroine's signature styling technique), she plays with textures in the yellow look, combining a blouse with a leather jacket and a corduroy miniskirt. Even her accessory contributes to the look: a quilted bag with long fringes. Butter yellow is called the new neutral color. However, Emily doesn't go for the fashionable muted tone, instead she chooses a rich pineapple shade.

The monochromatic look of Mindy is also noteworthy. The character, played by Ashley Park, is wearing a cobalt blue high-waisted minidress. According to the authors of the Kulturnaya_Prachechnaya Telegram channel, the color scheme of the look is "pleasant" because it resembles the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Most fashionistas don't usually pair a plush coat with another furry piece of clothing: in this case, a handbag. But Emily's double-furry outfit in beige tones is stylish. She also manages to add some Christmas spirit to the neutral base. She wears a red scarf and green gloves, and her Chistmass tree earrings match the decorated trees in the background.

Maximalist restraint

This outfit proves that Emily knows how to appease her passion for controversial maximalist prints: by opting for variety. She wears a ruffled blouse with feathered sleeves while keeping the style polished with a structured yellow dress with crow's feet over the blouse. The heroine also adds a gray coat, an element of "quiet luxury" that further mutes the look.

While most fashion insiders call the little black dress a wardrobe staple, Emily prefers her closet to resemble a rainbow. However, in Season 4, she proves that she can also wear this piece of clothing. Spending time with Gabriel, the American wears a long-sleeved turtleneck.
