Elephant tusks and a view of the "Motherland": what a Kyiv apartment for 590 thousand UAH per month looks like
In Kyiv, you can rent an apartment with works of art worthy of being museum pieces and a view of the Motherland monument. You can afford such a luxury for only almost 600 thousand UAH per month.
This is stated in an ad that can be found on the website of one of the largest real estate agencies. The apartment is located in one of the residential complexes in the capital's Pechersk district, on Michurina Street.
This is a 5-room apartment with a total area of 350 sq. m. "At first glance, you can fall in love with the author's design of the apartment, made in the Renaissance style. The most expensive materials are used in the decoration – marble, gold, oak," the announcement says.
The owners installed an installation with a carved elephant tusk in the living room and decorated it with Persian carpets and antiques from the 17th and 18th centuries, including statues and paintings. The furniture includes leather sofas.
The kitchen in this apartment is equipped with professional Italian appliances. There are also two master bedrooms with dressing rooms and bathrooms, a spacious corridor, a kitchen-dining room, and a living room.
"The windows and balconies offer a panoramic view of the Dnipro River and the Motherland monument," the ad says.
In addition, the clubhouse, where the apartment is located, also has a sauna, a cold pool, a swimming pool, and an event table. The monthly rent for a 5-room apartment is $15 thousand, or 590 thousand UAH at the exchange rate as of May 6. This price also includes parking. Both the parking lot and the entire building are guarded around the clock.
