Due out in 2025: what the advanced Nuundai Sonata will be like

Sonata sedans from the South Korean auto concern Hyundai are in the lists of the most popular cars in the world. However, in the 2025 model year, they will see a certain increase in price.

As the publication Motor1 found out, all because of a whole list of improvements that the car received. The improvement of the Sonata began back in 2024. For the new model will now have to give from 27,800. And here's what you get for that money.

The Sonata SE has the same powertrain as the SEL. We're talking about a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on the new base model include 16-inch alloy wheels, projector LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and automatic headlight control.

Inside, the SE has dual-zone automatic temperature control, push-button start, wireless and wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On top of that, you get a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and four USB-C charging ports (two in the front and two in the rear). Protection features include nine airbags, lane keeping assist, lane keeping assist, front collision avoidance assist with pedestrian and bicycle detection. And the auto is also equipped with blind spot collision warning with rear cross-traffic alert.

In addition, the 2025 Sonata lineup will include SEL, N Line and SEL and Limited hybrids. All of them will go up in price by a few hundred dollars. The Korean concern will also reposition the SEL Convenience as a new autonomous package. All-wheel drive is also available for the SEL, and the hotter Sonata N Line remains in the lineup with 290 hp, but it now comes with an air duct mounted on the second-row console. Hybrids still use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 192 hp and a six-speed transmission.
