Russia has complained about another attack by Ukrainian drones. This time, on the night of November 1, an oil depot in the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation came under attack by the Defense Forces.

After a UAV strike, a fire broke out at the facility, and the attack was caught on video. This facility was scouted by Ukrainian guerrillas six months ago, and it provided fuel to the occupation forces in southeastern Ukraine.

The "downing of a drone" on the territory of an oil depot in Svetlograd, Stavropol Krai, was reported by the governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov.

"Last night, a drone crashed on the territory of an oil depot in Svetlograd. No one was injured. Emergency services are working at the scene," he wrote on his Telegram channel at around 8 a.m. Kyiv time.

He didn't mention that after the drone "crashed," a massive explosion occurred at the oil depot and a fire broke out. Instead, all this was captured on video.

Russian publics initially published videos from the scene but quickly began to delete them.

The Atesh military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked an oil depot in the Stavropol Krai with the help of partisans.

"Last night, the drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck an important oil depot for the Russian occupiers in the city of Svetlograd, Stavropol Krai. It is no secret that we actively share information with the Ukrainian forces, and we very much hope that our data helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the defeat of this facility," the statement said.

The movement reported on what Atesh agents had discovered at the facility at the end of May this year. At that time, Atesh noted that the plant was actively operating. Oil is transported there every day, both by road and by rail.

"There is a huge number of guards on the territory, who constantly patrol the plant, even in hard-to-reach places. Most likely, this refinery covers the fuel needs of Russian troops on the southeastern section of the front," Atesh speculated at the time.

The guerrillas also noted that they had passed the coordinates of the facility and all the information they had collected to the Defense Forces.

"The defeat of this target will surely affect the occupiers' ability to supply their troops in the southeastern section of the front, which is a priority for them. There are still many similar targets in the works, waiting for their turn!" Atesh emphasized on November 1.

The Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally stated that "the Kyiv regime attempted to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs against targets in the Russian Federation" and that the Russian occupiers "intercepted and destroyed" 83 Ukrainian drones at once. However, the list of regions over which the drones were "shot down" did not include Stavropol Krai.

The occupiers claim that 36 UAVs were allegedly shot down over the territory of the Kursk region, 20 – over the territory of the Bryansk region, eight – over the territory of the Voronezh region, four – over the territory of the Orel region, and three – over the territory of Belgorod region.

The occupiers allegedly shot down another 12 drones over the territory of the occupied Ukrainian Crimea.

As a reminder, the day before, on October 31, the Ufa airport was closed in Russia. The news came amid reports of strikes and explosions in the city.

It was also reported that unknown drones had recently attacked the Kursk region, causing a "furor" among local residents.
