Dorado is a very healthy, tasty, and easy-to-prepare product. It is worth noting that it contains a large amount of iodine, as well as trace elements such as fluorine, lithium, iron, bromine, and boron. Eating this fish prevents thyroid diseases. In addition, dorado contains magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus. And the fish is very easy to prepare, 30 minutes in the oven and you will get a healthy dish for lunch or dinner.

Recipe of the dish

Ingredients:

  • Dorado – 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Olive oil – 100 ml
  • Anchovy – 1 pc (optional)
  • Garlic – 3 cloves.
  • Dried basil – 1 tsp.
  • Paprika – 1 tsp.
  • Dried ginger – 1 tsp.
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olives – 100 g
  • Fresh parsley

For the filling:

  • Olive oil – 70 ml
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Dried ginger – 1 tsp.
  • Water – 70 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Disassemble the fish into fillets and remove the bones.

2. Pour 1 tbsp olive oil into a frying pan. Fry the chopped garlic and anchovy. Fry for 2 minutes.

3. Cut the tomatoes into rings and place them on the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with basil. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Place on top of the tomatoes.

5. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, ginger and pour over the potatoes. Cover and cook until the potatoes are tender.

Sauce for fish

6. Then put the fish fillets, season with salt and pepper, add parsley and olives. Pour over the sauce and cover with a lid. Cook for about 7 minutes.
