Ukrainian boxer gavs a frank interview

Legendary Ukrainian super heavyweight Volodymyr Klychko (64-5, 35 KOs) was all cryptic when asked whether he will return to boxing. The 48-year-old former world champion said that there was "no point in commenting on this information" because it was "not interesting."

The following conversation occured between the boxer and the Novyny.Live journalist.

- So you're neither confirming nor denying it?

- Did you hear what I said?

- There was no 'yes' or 'no'.

- There is no point in commenting on this.

- If you indeed plan to come back, I wish you good luck.

As reported, the reputable American sports channel ESPN believes that Klychko will return in 2025 to break George Foreman's record. The latter won the WBA and IBF titles in 1994 at the age of 45, becoming the oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history. The authors are confident that Volodymyr's age will not be an obstacle to his career resumption.

After his career ended in 2015, Klychko returned only once, in 2017, when he lost to Anthony Joshua in an epic fight at Wembley Stadium.
