Delicious Adjarian khachapuri: cooked with suluguni and egg yolk for only 20 minutes in the oven
Khachapuri can be made from yeast dough, as well as from ready-made puff pastry and pita bread. For the filling, you can use cottage cheese, grated mozzarella, as well as feta cheese, feta, and it will be very tasty with suluguni.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious khachapuri with suluguni on Instagram, which is very quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Warm milk - 170 ml.
- Warm water - 70 ml
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.
- Dry yeast - 5 g.
- Flour - 300 g.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Oil - 2.5 tbsp.
- Suluguni cheese (I do not recommend taking any other cheese) - 260 g
- Yolk + butter
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: mix water, milk, add salt, sugar and yeast - mix.
2. Grease a bowl with vegetable oil (take into account the depth of the bowl, because the dough will rise approximately twice), put the finished dough and cover with a wet towel or plastic wrap. Put it in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
3. Then divide the dough into three parts, roll out each layer, and fill with grated cheese. Turn it over and cut it into shapes.
4. Brush with egg yolk and bake for 20 minutes at 180 C, then open and add the egg yolk and butter around the edges, put in the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
