Every country has its own unique history, culture, and attractions. However, not all of them inspire admiration and desire to return. Drew Binsky, a famous traveler and YouTuber who has visited 197 countries shared his own ranking of the worst places he has ever been.

His content has garnered millions of views, as his travel experience helps to determine the best and worst places to visit. In his video, the expert talked about the countries that disappointed him the most due to high prices, dangerous situations, and the general atmosphere.

Djibouti

This East African country, located in the Horn of Africa, shares borders with Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and the Red Sea. Djibouti's capital, known as the pearl of the Gulf of Tadjoura, has perhaps the smallest population on the continent.

Drew Binsky said that he faced financial difficulties at the airport and did not feel safe walking around the capital, despite the large military presence. In addition, the prices of food in Djibouti were extremely high, which made his stay even less pleasant.

Chad

This Central African country is landlocked and famous for its difficult political situation. Staying here has been a real challenge for Drew.

In his video, he told us how he found himself in the middle of a police chase over a stolen car. In addition, he had a conflict when he tried to take a photo. Despite all the difficulties, the traveler said he was ready to give Chad another chance.

Guinea

Another African country has made the list of the worst places to travel. Guinea, located on the Atlantic coast, has a population of about 14 million people.

Drew described his trip in 2019 as very difficult. He witnessed riots as police with riot shields stormed the streets. The blogger admitted that it was scary to even take pictures on his phone. He emphasized that there are few interesting places for tourists in Guinea.

Brunei

This Asian country, located on the island of Borneo, also did not make a positive impression on Drew. He recalled the incident when he was kicked out of the Golden Mosque and noted that the locals were rude. However, he recommended visiting the Ulu Temburong National Park, which is one of the most beautiful places in Brunei.

Guyana

The South American country of Guyana was ranked fifth on the list of the least attractive places for a traveler. Drew Binsky noted that he did not feel safe in the country's capital, Georgetown. The owner of the hostel even warned him not to go out after 7 pm. Although Guyana has unique nature and Amazonian rainforests, it failed to convince the traveler of its hospitality.
