The Ukrainian national football team has one match left to play in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. On November 20, Rebrov's men will compete with Italy for second place in Group C, where they are likely to win with a difference of more than 2 goals (the Italian team may still stumble against Northern Macedonia).

However, the Ukrainians can get a guaranteed ticket to the playoffs the day before the game (November 19). On this day, the main rival of the Ukrainians on this path, the Serbian national team, will play their match.

If the Serbs finish second in Group G and qualify directly for the European Championship, Ukraine will take their place in the playoffs.

Serbian national team is currently second with 13 points. Montenegro is 5 points behind.

If the Serbs don't lose to the Bulgarians in a home match on November 19 or the Montenegrins don't beat Hungary away, Ukraine is guaranteed an early playoff spot and a chance to qualify for the European Championships even if they lose to Italy.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Ukraine is likely to play in the same pool as Israel, Finland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the playoffs for the 2024 European Championship if it fails to qualify for the tournament directly.
